I'm an American photographer living in Japan. I take photos and talk about them. Sometimes other stuff too, random bits from my brain and whatnot.

After the fall. The #kawazu #cherryblossoms are no more. A strong storm blew them all off. Here are their remains. #japan #okazaki #spring #flowers / on Instagram http://instagr.am/p/I1MViEQ55c/
A hidden place in the old resort city of Atami. This is actually one of my all time favorite photos that I’ve taken. It may not be as impressive as some of my others, it may have never sold for big bucks like some of my others, but there is something so peaceful, so relaxing, so spiritual about this scene… It draws me straight in and I can get lost there.
Last days of the #kawazu #cherryblossoms. All things must come to an end. But they’ll be back again next year! And until then, I have well over 1000 shots of them clogging up my hard drive! #japan #flowers #spring / on Instagram http://instagr.am/p/Ixi6jzQ5w6/
